Match Day Guidance

Matches are played on the sports fields and 3G around the Everyone Active Cambourne Fitness & Sports Centre, Back Lane, Cambourne, Cambridgeshire, CB23 6FY.

Pitches are located either side of the sports centre as shown in the graphic at the top of the page.

Clubhouse - Matchday Refreshments:

The Dugout will be open on matchdays serving refreshments, so why not take a break from the elements and warm up with something tasty! Please do ensure that muddy football boots are not worn when entering to make purchases.

Other important information:

  • Toilets: The toilets for players are located within the same building as The Dugout but accessible at ground floor level and from the outside, facing pitch 10. Spectators can use the toilets upstairs at The Dugout. Toilets inside the Everyone Active Centre are for customers only and should not be used.
  • First Aid: Cambourne Town FC managers are first aid trained and carry small first aid kits.
  • Defibrillator: A Defibrillator is located inside the Everyone Active Sports Centre and also there are ones located outside the entrance to The Dugout as well as at the Cambourne Cricket Pavilion, opposite the football pitches.
  • Emergency Action Plan: The club emergency action plan document is here for your reference.

Directions:
From the A428, enter Cambourne until you see the Cambridge Belfry hotel and lake on your left. Turn left at this roundabout, go straight on across the next (Morrisons entrance) roundabout, and the pitches are half a mile up Back Lane on the left-hand side.

From the A1198, enter Cambourne and follow the road for one mile until Morrisons is on the left. Turn left into the High Street just after Morrisons and before the Monkfield Arms pub. Head up the High Street and continue straight on at the give way. Keeping the church on your right, in 100 metres you will reach the Everyone Active Sports Centre, facing you at the T-junction.

Parking
Cambourne has ample parking but is still prone to inconsiderate match day parking on residential streets. Car parks are available at Everyone Active, The Cricket Pavilion, The Church and Morrisons – all of which are within 5 minutes walking distance. As Cambourne is a new community, adoption of roads is ongoing, and cars parked in local residential streets may be subject to enforcement. Please do not park on Monk Drive (the road to the left of pitches 11, 12, & 13), and instead use the parking locations suggested. Also please do not park illegally or block other vehicles in.

Use of the 3G Pitches:

  • The 3G pitch has stringent footwear requirements that we must adhere to.
  • We must stress that players not wearing approved footwear will not be allowed to play and will be turned away
  • Muddy boots must be cleaned before accessing the pitch, and spectators/parents cannot enter the 3G pitch at any time.
  • See the footwear guide in the image provided below.
  • Please note that trainers are not acceptable footwear.

Entry to and Exit From 3G Pitches:

  • Please note that the entry to the 3G pitches is via one gate and the exit is from another. See the diagram below.
